Player camera safety
Cameras are optional, session-specific, and off by default. Camera use never changes gameplay access, Ranked judging, XP, matchmaking, or skill rating.
Before camera access
- • You need a persistent Cypher Club account and verified email or social login.
- • Player cameras and the official show are currently limited to adults age 18 or older.
- • Account standing, safety restrictions, and camera suspensions are checked by the server.
- • Every match requires a new preview and explicit sharing choice. Prior choices do not turn a camera on.
- • Guest and anonymous accounts cannot share cameras.
Your controls
- • Preview and choose a device before entering.
- • Turn the camera off immediately, switch cameras on mobile, or hide only your self-view.
- • Use background blur where the browser supports it.
- • Camera loss falls back to your avatar, name, rank, waveform, and turn effects.
- • Nobody, including moderators, can remotely turn on your camera.
- • Spectators may use a personal Cinema view that follows the official turn; it never changes anyone else's screen.

Solo drills
Local self-view; optional personal recording only when requested.
Ranked drills
Optional shared camera; camera is not ranked evidence and performers do not receive Cinema Mode.
Ranked cyphers
Optional shared camera; camera is not recorded by default and performers do not receive Cinema Mode.
Arena and custom rooms
Optional for players and invited judges; room recording requires separate consent.
Weekly official show
Required only for selected adult performers; producer-directed and explicitly recorded.
Spectators
May view player cameras but can never publish their own camera.
Recording release for selected performers
By separately accepting this release in an official-show lobby, the performer confirms they are at least 18, are authorized to perform the submitted material, and give Cypher Club permission to record their camera, voice, stage name, and performance during that identified show session. Cypher Club may edit, publish, reproduce, clip, promote, stream, and distribute that show recording and related promotional excerpts across Cypher Club services and official channels. This acceptance applies only to the identified show session and does not activate a camera in any other session.
A performer may leave before recording starts. Once captured or published, removal requests are reviewed through Support and may be limited by lawful operational, archival, contractual, or already-distributed uses. This product copy should be reviewed by Cypher Club counsel before the first public official broadcast.
Report, block, or get help
Every camera tile offers Hide for me, Mute for me, Report, Block, and Leave. Reporting hides that camera for you immediately while gameplay continues and sends the incident to human moderation.
